You’re invited to join us at Scentsy Commons for a dazzling light display. Our third annual Christmas Lights Ceremony is from 6-8 PM Friday, Nov. 15. We’ll officially turn on the lights with a countdown beginning at 6:15 PM. More than 450 trees have been wrapped in over 43 miles of beautiful lights, and back by popular demand is the incredible light tunnel!

Every year, the City of Caldwell Street Department decorates Indian Creek in downtown Caldwell with nearly a million lights! The Annual Boise Holiday Parade is back for 2019, with the theme "The Most Wonderful Time of the Year". Dr. Bob Kustra, former President of Boise State University, will be the Grand Marshal. The parade route and more information can be found on their website.

Downtown Boise Christmas Tree Lighting has been rescheduled to Friday, Dec 6 at 6 PM.

Sat Nov 30, 2019 - City of Nampa Christmas Tree Lighting

Historic Nampa Train Depot
5:15 - 6 PM

City of Nampa's Christmas Tree Lighting will be held in Downtown Nampa in front of the Historic Nampa Train Depot. Festivities will tentatively start at 5:15 PM with entertainment, and the lighting will occur at 6 PM. Parking in the Downtown Garage by the Library will be free all day.

The lighted parade starts at 6 PM along Main Street in Emmett. The Christmas Tree Lighting will take place after the parade at Bowman Memorial Park, formerly known as Pioneer Park and Huskie Park. The History Club will be selling hot chocolate and cookies at the park lighting.

Pre-registration is not required. Just show up on parade day. Parade starts at 6:00pm. Lineup will begin at 5:15 pm on Owyhee Ave. starting at Tolmie's Ace Hardware. The theme this year will be The Polar Express! The City of Homedale Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place immediately following the parade in Bette Uda Park.

Mon Dec 2, 2019 - Idaho State Capitol Christmas Tree Lighting

The program will start at 5:30 PM, with the Tree Lighting ceremony at 6:00 PM. After the tree lighting, the public is invited to gather inside the Capitol building to look at the decorations inside.

The campus community and general public are invited to celebrate the season in true Bronco spirit with holiday music, hot chocolate, Santa Claus and the annual lighting of the tree.

You're invited to the Mayor's Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony! We will flip the switch on the trees that are just to the east of the Library, next to Glenwood Street. We will have cookies, hot chocolate, and hopefully Santa will make an appearance! The Garden City Public Library will have a card making class so you can make your own holiday cards! Riverglen Junior High will sing Christmas Carols!

Downtown Boise’s City Santa is a holiday tradition for Boise families. Presented by D.L. Evans Bank, you can find Santa at the D.L. Evans downtown branch at 9th & Main Streets. Photos with Santa are free. Donations raise funds for the Women’s and Children’s Alliance. And the smiles Santa brings… they’re priceless.



Fri Dec 6, 2019 - Marsing Christmas Parade on Main Street & Christmas Tree Lighting

Plan NOW to be a parade walker, illuminate a decorated float, horse, vehicle, ATV, tractor or trailer! Get creative! Line up at Marsing High School Football Field @ 5:30 PM. Parade begins at 6:30 p.m. ending with The Annual Community Tree Lighting at Marsing Island Park. Featuring K & R Kettle Corn for some holiday popcorn delights and free hot chocolate provided by the City of Marsing. Stop by the Marsing Fire Department and get a bowl of chili with fixins, homemade baked goods and pictures with Santa to benefit the community.

The 7th Annual Winter Lights Parade & Christmas Tree Lighting will kick off the festivities on Friday, December 6, 2019. The Winter Lights Parade will light up the night in a fantastic display your family will love. The evening will also feature the lighting of Meridian's Christmas Tree in Generations Plaza on the corner of Main and Idaho. Buddy the Elf will be here to help Santa ignite the imaginations and joy in the hearts of young and old alike.

Join your city officials and neighbors as we light the City of Star Christmas tree. The Star Elementary School Choir will be singing carols, refreshments will be provided by the Star Lions Club and a special visitor from the North Pole may make an appearance.

The Tree Lighting is a Downtown Boise Tradition! Boise Mayor Bieter lights up the holiday tree on The Grove Plaza in Downtown Boise, while families in attendance sing carols and join in the candle lighting ceremony. The community is invited to attend this traditional event that lights up downtown and welcomes the holiday season to the Treasure Valley. There will be beer, wine, coffee and donuts for purchase. Grab a hot chocolate from any nearby coffee shop downtown!

Celebrate Christmas with small-town charm! Eagle Country Christmas is coming up on December 7th from 1 to 6 pm in Downtown Eagle. You can shop for gifts at the holiday market, take a picture with Santa and Mrs. Clause, pet a real reindeer, and take a carriage ride through historic Downtown Eagle! The Christmas Tree Lighting will take place at 5:30 PM.


Sat Dec 7, 2019 - Ontario Winter Wonderland Parade

Each winter, Ontario kicks off the holiday season with the Winter Wonderland Parade. The parade travels down SW 4th Avenue and ends in Downtown Ontario. Marching bands, floats, and Santa are all part of this holiday tradition. This year's theme is Santa's Workshop.

Celebrating the 17th annual Treasure Valley Night Light Parade that starts at the Caldwell Event Center and ends at 5th Ave and Blaine. Arrive early and enjoy time around the Indian Creek Plaza, eat at some of our amazing restaurants.

Down Home Country Christmas is held - Saturday December 14th - Kids carnival will be held from 11am-2pm at the Old 4th Street Gym on the corner of 4th St and Ave D. Come down and bring the whole family.

Sat Dec 14, 2019 - Kuna Night Light Parade and Tree Lighting

The Night Light Parade will be on Main Street. Parade starts at 6pm sharp. Come out and get into the holiday spirit. After the Parade the City of Kuna will have their official lighting of the Kuna Christmas Tree at the Band Shell.
